Hello! I’m Leanne Shelton –

Founder/CEO of Write Time Marketing

I am:

My Background

Most copywriters admit the difficulty in writing their own About pages…but here goes!

Sydney girl all my life, my career experience includes journalism, marketing, internal communications, events, and B2B sales in corporate, government, and not-for-profit roles. (At places like TrueLocal, Achieve Australia, and Macquarie University)

With over 15 years of writing and editorial experience, I started Write Time Marketing as a freelance copywriter in 2014. However, the business has developed into so much more.

Focusing on the health and wellness niche, I now have a team of mid-senior level Australian SEO copywriters who are absolutely awesome at writing content in the online space. I review everything, meaning you get the value of 2 copywriters for every project.

I also provide content marketing one-on-one Power Hours and group training on topics like business blogging, podcasting, webinars, website copy, LinkedIn and more.

This means our clients can ‘choose their own adventure’ – and can either outsource or DIY. Some do a mix of both!

On top of it all, I’m the host/leader of the ‘Marketing & Me’ podcast and Meet Up group, and Education Partner with Sydney Hills Business Chamber.

Outside the office, I enjoy dancing, yoga, meditation, running, reading business books and psychological thrillers, listening to inspiring podcasts, and chilling with my hubby and two daughters.

Outside the Office

My goal is to make every year different from the last.

I enjoy trying different styles of dancing, reading business and non-fiction novels, listening to inspiring podcasts, networking, and spending quality time with my husband, Justin, and two young daughters, Gabrielle (Gabi) and Indiana (Indi).

I love putting my hand up to volunteer where I can – resulting in my position as Secretary of the local primary school’s P&C (as a first-time Kindy mum…)
